Tokyo Apartment Viewing Videos

Homes we viewed in person and filmed for our clients: the location, the building, every room and the view. Not in Tokyo? We can view homes for you.

Photos on a listing show the best angles. A walk-through video shows what it is like to arrive, open the door and stand at the window. We visit each home ourselves and film the whole walk-through, so you can judge a home from overseas before you decide whether to fly in.

Not in Tokyo? We can view homes for you

  1. Send us the homes that interest you — from our listings or elsewhere.
  2. We arrange the viewing with the selling side and visit in person.
  3. We film the walk-through and send it to you with our notes in English: what we liked, what to check, and the monthly costs.
  4. If you want to go ahead, we act as your agent through the purchase.

Questions

Can you view an apartment in Tokyo for me if I live overseas?

Yes. Tell us which homes interest you. We arrange the viewing, visit in person, film the walk-through and send you the video with our notes in English, so you can see the location, the building and every room before you decide whether to fly in.

What does a viewing video show?

The walk from the station or the neighbourhood, the building entrance and shared areas, the floor plan, every room, and the view. The closing screen shows the asking price and the monthly fees (management fee and repair reserve) as of the date we filmed.

Is there an English-speaking real estate agent in Tokyo who can help me buy?

Ken Aoki is a real estate agent with RE/MAX INTERFACE in Tokyo and a licensed Real Estate Transaction Specialist (takkenshi). He works in English and Chinese (HSK Level 6), studied at the Australian National University, and has lived in Australia, the United States and China.

Can you help in Chinese?

Yes. Ken Aoki speaks Chinese (HSK Level 6, advanced) and lived in Shanghai for eight years.

Are the homes in these videos still for sale?

Each video links to its property page, which shows the current price and status. Prices can change; when a home is sold or withdrawn we remove it from this page.

Who handles the purchase?

Ken Aoki acts as your real estate agent through International Interface Co., Ltd. (RE/MAX INTERFACE), Tokyo Governor's Licence (3) No. 96857. We also own and run rental homes in Tokyo ourselves, so we look at a property the way an owner would: management, repair reserve, rent and resale.
